Invite you to http://www.talkshoe.com Hi! This is Hansen. I was a heavy user of skypecast for 1 month and utterly disappointed when skypecast shutdowned. I waited for skypecast more than 2 months but there still isn't hope of coming back. Then Teacher_Monkey invited me to TalkShoe, which was proven very useful for communication, sometimes even better than skypecast. TalkShoe provides the essential aspects of Web 2.0. Inducing user participation, Sharing accumulated information, Being open to the public. I'm sure that you will come to love Talkshoe because there are many amusing live shows, informative recordings and wonderful teachers. Unfortunately participation to TalkShoe is somewhat difficult than former skypecast so there are only small number of people joining to talkshoe cast. So I hereby provide some guide to participate in TalkShoe. You need only about 5~10 minutes in first installation then you can always participate in TalkShoe cast quickly and for free . I hope you will share the very core spirit of TalkShoe and contribute to the peace of the world. I was helped by Teacher_Monkey and WorldMikel for many tips explained here. Thanks. Summary 1. Set pin at your talkshoe account (sign up is necessary) 2. Install gizmo5 to your computer download URL: http://gizmo5.com/pc/download/?PHPSESSID=7f88ae14a9ff74f6b1de9caccaa3ad07 make your account at gizmo5 3. change setting 1 at gizmo5 4. change setting 2 at gizmo5 5. call talkshoe through gizmo5 when you call talkshoe, you will need call ID and your pin number. So before you call, check Call ID of show first. I explained how to find out Call ID below. see it. 6. Live show list page how to find a live call list at talkshoe and find out call ID for gizmo5 connection. 7. Click "mytalkshoe" 2. click "pin" 3. type in pin 10 digit number 4. press "update Pin" button

STEP 3 ↑ back home Setup change1: press Edit, press Options 
STEP 4 ↑ back home Setup change2: press Advanced, check Transport Setup and DTMF Tones Transport Setup => Automatic(recommended) DTMF Tones => change as "Out-of-band" => click save => change as "In-band" => click save. * DTMF Tones should be "In-band". but If you change DTMF Tones directly to "In-band", sometimes it doesn't work. So I suggest you that you should update DTMF Tones as "Out-of-band" first and then update again as "In-band" 
STEP 5 ↑ back home Call talkshoe through gizmo5 1. paste "sip:talkshoe@66.212.134.192" into the textbox 2. click Dialpad button 3. press call button 4. press call ID #, PIN # using Dialpad * Before you call, shut down all other VoiP calls. If call failed, I suggest that you exit gizmo program and enable gizmo again. If call still fail, reboot your computer. 
STEP 6 ↑ back home Press "Live now" button, you can find on-going show list. you can find out Call ID here. press Show Icon to move to Show detail. 
STEP 7 ↑ back home You can open a web chat box or java chat box here. You can also find out Call ID and bookmark. 
STEP 8 ↑ back home web chat box: Call ID appears in the bottom of chat box here.
